Privacy Policy

The short version

We only collect what you give us, we use it only for what you gave it to us for, we don’t sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. We don’t use Google Analytics or advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Waitlist: your first name and email, when you ask to join a waitlist.
• Inquiries & contact: your name, email, optional company, and the message you send.
• Basic analytics: privacy-first, cookie-free, aggregate page statistics (Plausible). No personal profiles, no cross-site tracking.

How we use it

To reply to you, to let you know when a product opens, and to run the site. That’s it. We don’t add you to a general marketing list — product waitlists are opt-in and specific.

Where it lives

Submissions are stored in our own private cloud storage and sent to us by email (via Resend). We don’t sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hq@theateam.co.nz and we’ll action it. Under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 you can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
